As a physician working with both diabetes patients and the company that makes the most used flash glucose monitoring sensor technique we see most problems with connectivity happening because of the smartphone closing the underlying app/processes that poll the sensor. Since there are also multiple reports on Fairphones closing apps aggressively on A15 this might be a possible (part of the) problem. Others have mentioned this is an A15 problem, but the Sony and Samsung phones at home on A15 don’t exhibit these problems so it definitely is also related to Fairphone’s implementation of A15.
