FP4 battery drain since FP4.SREL.15.14.4 on flight mode

I’ve read the other (closed) posts on this topic, but they mostly focus on mobile data etc. which doesn’t affect my case.

My brand new FP4, (which I got as a warranty case due to FP4.QREL.15.15.2) is running FP4.SREL.15.14.4, started to lose a lot of battery (20-40%) over night while being in flight mode, and it’s always in flight mode over night. This has never been the case for my old FP4 which I’ve had for almost 3 years, that would never lose more than single digit battery % over night in flight mode.

Does anyone else have similar issues still? I vaguely remember people writing that this is a general issue since A15.

Does anyone have ideas how to debug the issue?

Definitely not widespread. You’d see kilometeres of threads about that here :slight_smile: My phone on 15.14.4 loses between 5 to 15% overnight (not in flight mode).

Make sure you don’t turn on battery optimizer. I’ve actually reported a bug that the phone consumes more with battery optimizer than without it :slight_smile:

Thanks, I’ve actually disabled battery optimizer just after posting and I’m already seeing a difference. I’m curious how it’ll be after the night.

Still lost 40% over night, so that wasn’t the solution. Next try: rebooting.

The good ol’ “did you try turning it off and on again?” shouldn’t be neglected!
