Before buying a handlebar mount for my FP4, I need to know what material the back cover is made of. The protective case is made of TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), which is not compatible with the 3M VHB 4952 adhesive used on the mount’s adapter. I therefore plan to stick the adapter directly onto the back cover and cut the protective case to size.

According to https://support.fairphone.com/hc/en-us/articles/27601030187410-How-to-remove-and-replace-your-Fairphone-back-cover (the information is near the end) the material is polycarbonate.
