HI,
last Sunday in the morning the phone worked fine, but then it stopped. I rebooted only to see the start screen for a couple of seconds, then it died again to never come back to anything alive.
When connected to a charger, the light indicator does not light up.
I thought it was the battery, so I bought a new one and just installed it. No change regretfully.
Has anybody a clue what I can do?

Perhaps there is a Fairphone Angel in your neighbourhood who has a working Fairphone 3 so that you can test your battery and other modules of your phone.
That sounds like a sudden death
Just ten days ago somebody came to me with a battery that would not charge or start the Fairphone 3.
In my partner’s Fairphone 3 the battery had no problems with charging. We let it charge for some time. And then as per miracle the phone start working again. And up to today it’s still working.
So I strongly recommended to make a backup.

I’m not able anymore to start again my fairphone 3+. It stopped working very suddenly. I changed the battery and the lower module but still it doesn’t work…Als I tried to charge it with different cables in different places, still not working, not any light at all…
Do you have any idea of what I should do to repair it completely ?

I purchased a replacement battery a while ago. For a while it worked fine but after I dropped the phone it would not charge and I panicked. But the old battery worked fine.
I realized that the new battery did not fit in tight enough onto the contacts. If I would squeeze it hard enough at the right angle it worked. After getting a replacement of the battery it works like a charm.
Maybe the tolerances in the manufacturing process are just a bit too high.
