this EU label should apply to all the smartphones placed on the market in or after June 2025 (definitely not FP3+ then).

Starting June 20, 2025, all smartphones and tablets sold in the EU will feature a new label inside the box, indicating battery life and efficiency. This is will be an update to the energy sticker Europeans are already familiar with on many household appliances. All smarthones and tablets have to meet also key ecodesign criteria. I remember vaguely checking and selling by the company and placing on the market are pretty similar (but I assume it does not concern resellers selling last units some time after).
