I have 2 useful features that don’t work on my FP3 :
USB tethering (but wifi tethering works)
USB file transfer (but PTP - picture transfer works)

Official LineageOS 18.1 for Fairphone 3/Fairphone 3+ - #412 by TeamB58). Does anyone has a idea on how I could debug it and make it work on my FP3 ? I’m up-to-date with latest build from 05/23.
Did you try different cable and USB Ports? Did you check all Driver are up to date? Did it ever work or never and when did it stop to work?
Maybe some hints can be found here?
I got a work sim card and want to use that for tethering when travelling. I never used tethering before and have by default everything going over the other sim card.
To get it working in the first place, I had to reboot after configuring the work sim for data communication. Then when I enable usb tethering I can access webpages on the laptop. Or should your use Ubuntu (assume doesnt matter if FP3 or FP4)
Maybe check that it’s set up properly in your internet settings. I’m posting this from my OpenSUSE TW desktop tethered through my FP4, but I had to do some manual configuration to get it to work.
The phone appears as 2 separate wired connections, only one works
I had to manually change it from “Share my network”, though that may have been because the only wired connection I’ve ever used with this PC was configured that way
I had to disconnect & reconnect through the KDE network…

I’ve just tested on another computer (on xubuntu), and all is working fine, so the problem was with my windows 10 computer.
I deleted the android usb driver, then reboot, and after that it’s all working well.
