FP3+ do not charge

Hi everyone,

I have a FP3+. I can’t charge it while it is on, but just when it is off. I don’t know why.

It started 1 month ago, when one day my phone didn’t charge quickly, but needed about 6 hours. I tried to change charger, electrical outlet and try to charge another phone: everything worked, but not my phone, so I started to be worry because the day before I spent a lot of time in a really hot place and my phone became really hot too. Over time, the time charging became higher so I tried to turn off my phone to charge it, but it started to turn on and off continuously. I opened up the bottom module and cleaned it: the result was that now I can charge my phone but just when it is off. This can be ok, but I don’t know if this situation will worsen till I could’t charge it anymore.

Do you know what is the problem? What can I do?

Well make a backup of your phone now. It could be that your phone will get big trouble.
For the battery check with a battery app what the condition of your battery is.
What you could try is a kickstart:
Let your battery drop below 20%
Turn your phone off.
Take the battery out.
Connect the phone without the battery to the charger.
Whilst still connected to the charger put your battery in the phone and let it charge.

There are many reasons, that can cause charging problems:

I experienced some charging problems often before a sudden death of the phone, which is caused in more than 90% by the KMRP60014M.

This may or may not work in your case. Let the phones battery discharge until it shuts down. Then try and charge it.
