I hope I’m posting this in the right forum.
A problem has recently occured. I have a Fairphone 3, and the camera app I’m using is called Open Camera. Actually I’ve been using it for years and it was always ok. Now suddenly, assumably since the last update of the app (?) the photos I take are always a bit too dark. I don’t find where in the settings I can change that. First I thought it was a hardware problem, but today I used the standard app (just called Kamera) and compared the photo to one taken with Open Camera, and the Kamera photo was the usual “lightness” - the Open Camera photo was definitely much darker.
The app is called Open Camera, and it’s by Mark Harman.
Any suggestions? Thank you very much!
Have you tried returning Open Camera to the default settings (I don’t know if it has an option for that in the settings; if not, I think deleting the app storage and cache should do the trick).
I don’t use Open Camera and I’m not sure if that will fix it, but it might be worth a try

thank you for your reply! I had looked for the “back to default settings” before but couldn’t find it (there are so many different settings options) but today I had another look and found it! So now all looks good again. Have only taken a couple of pics but they are definitely much lighter than in the “dark phase”.
I have no idea what happened because I haven’t changed anything in the settings for years, but very happy that it seems to be alright again.
