Hello!
I have tried to start my old, very old FP2. First with battery, which I charge. Then without battery and with power supply.
But with and without battery: the red LED flashes continuously.
Even this guide didn’t help me: ✏ How to charge a completely empty battery
What does that mean? Any defect in/on the phone?

It could be your battery is dead.
Try a kickstart to see if you can revive your battery.
I don’t know which solution led to my FP2 coming back to life 
I tried it again. When I plugged in the power adapter, the LED stayed red and after several minutes the battery was actually charged again.
