I did! it didn’t work…
Switch off the phone and take off the cover to see if the battery is bloated. If it is, you should replace it immediately.
I did! I did absolutely everything I found on the forum… and I’ve doing it for sometime now… it always comes back, I have found no effective solution… I already had my phone changed once by support and I also had it repaired once!!! 
Hmm, did you install the OTA release of version 17.06.4? If yes, maybe a factory reset helps… (You should back up your personal data before you reset your phone!)
If you don’t think its the battery/hardware, then you will need to find the cruel-pit. There are good analytic apps available, such as better battery stats that can help you find the problem. Otherwise you could do a hard reset and kickstart the battery. If you can then use the phone normally (i.e. before installing again your apps), you can exclude a hardware defect or OS fault, but know that the problem must be from one of your apps or settings. Then just install them one by one and figure out which one ruins your battery life. But as I said: I would start with using analytical tools to find the source.
The thing is that just before the update (Open OS) it seems to work more or less fine… I think it has something to do with the SD card since it doesn’t have write option after the update… it’s just a hint though…
So what happens then if you take out the SD card? Does battery life increase?
I’m checking that right now… 
(by the way do you know how to restore write permission on the sd card?)
OK not better in any way taking the sdcard out… Better battery stats shows that phone is awake almost all the time… but I don’t understand which application is “to blame”. Phone died on me just now after having been fully charged once in mid morning… I hate this… it’s like I don’t have a phone…

As for the factory reset… I’m trying to avoid it as it takes me hours to have a functionnal phone again…
You can post screen shots, maybe someone can help you then. 
Doesn’t sound like you currently have a functional phone.

I would give it a try. Sure, it is way better to find and eliminate the real cause. But in your case, I think a factory reset will make your Fairphone work properly again in a few hours.
Do not forget to back up your data first, especially the media folder!

For the time being I’m charging my dead phone… I’ll get back to you with stats as soon as I have them… where should I look?
You can use a data cable to connect the phone to a PC, too, to save your data.
You can either format your SD card and copy your files with Amaze to the SD card, or, if that shouldn’t work, simply copy your files straight to a computer (no need for a SD to copy your media files).
I know guys just kidding… by the way haha again as amaze dissappeared after the update!
