FP Open 19 with microG + GCM: "Current State: Disconnected"

Hey, I’m on Fairphone Open 19.02.1 with microG Services Core 0.2.6 and all functions of microG work as expected except Google Cloud Messaging. Google device registration is enabled, but in the Google Cloud Messaging section it says “Current State: Disconnected” and no apps using it are listed. This was working well on Android 6. So my question is: has anyone brought push notifications to work on Fairphone Open 19 or any idea what to try?

EDIT: I dialed *#*#2432546#*#* as suggested here and it solved the problem.

I just noticed that the code is actually mentioned in the description of the FakeGApps Xposed module and that this cryptical number is simply T9 for CHECKIN.
