FP 3 / other caller hears me twice

Hi FP Community

sadly all my phonecalls have to go through my headset, since the other caller hears me twice (Insta live, phone calls, threema calls).
Does anybody know have to fix this double hearing?

Do you mean there is an echo?

If so this is a reported problem with WhatsApp, Telegram etc, but uncommon in normal calls

I have voice echo in the Signal app which uses fairphone 3

I am having echo issue in all the voice calling apps like signal, Telegram which uses fairphone 3 protocol. what could be done to remove the echo please suggest

There are reports that this is known to Fairphone and a fix is in the pipeline.

Echo in VOIP calls - FP3

I recently got in touch with support as well. Had same routine of trying stuff to make sure it’s not just me. They told me they’re aware of it now and will work on it. Hopefully we’ll have a fix soon enough. Thanks!
