Fixing bootloop without USB debugging/OEM unlocking

Hi all,

Have an issue with my Fairphone 3, which has gotten stuck in a bootloop. I suspect this might be because of an issue with a google suite update, as I’ve had occasional eras of constant crashes from this before and tried safe mode which did not work. I’m using the Fairphone stock OS, and have been able to get into recovery mode and fastboot, but any methods I’ve seen for fixing this (manually reinstalling OS via adb/fastboot) have been stalled by needing USB debugging and/or OEM unlocking, which I can’t enable due to the bootloop. Have also tried factory resetting and the issue remains.

If anyone has a fix for this, please let me know.

If you flash the same OS, that is already installed (I guess you have FairphoneOS installed) through Recovery, you usually do not need to enable OEM unlocking. I am almost certain about that.

For the FP3 only, FP offers adb sideload, which would still need USB debugging?

For the FP3 there are still ways
