I am right now in northern Germany (family visit), so for the first time I participated (passively) in the latest “Warntag”!..
FP4 with 2 SIMs (Orange FR and Vodafone,de). I don’t think it did make any sound, but at that time my phone was in another room of a rather large house, so I’m not sure. Some minutes later I (accidentally) found 2 network messages, one in German, one in English: That part worked.
Seems they send those messages by handset, not by provider, because I didn’t receive those messages twice.
Anyway, it better not be anything too urgent, because given there is no means to know a message has arrived, if you don’t use your phone for a while you’re bound to miss the alert.
Ich habe wie üblich das Problem, dass der Ton beim Cell Bradcast so laut und nervig ist, dass ich das schnell wegklicke ohne zu lesen, was in der Warnung steht. Und dann stelle ich mir immer die Frage, wie ich die Meldung nochmal gezielt angezeigt bekomme.
Zu finden ist es in den Einstellungen unter “Benachrichtigungen > Notfallbenachrichtigungen für Mobilgeräte > Bisherige Notfallbenachrichtigungen”. Ob ich mir das jemals merken kann? Vor allem vergesse ich immer, wonach ich suchen muss, um schnell hin zu kommen, “Warn” funktioniert nicht
“Notfall” oder “Cell” würden schnell an die richtige Stelle führen.
