Fairphone TWS earbuds charging issue

Hi,
I have a relatively new pair of Fairphone Earbuds (the old model) which are a replacement I got since my old ones stopped working properly during the warranty.
Now I sadly have also an issue with these new ones, because since a few days they are basically not really charging at all and thus are not turning on. This may be my fault because I let them completely run out of power and the case was completely discharged as well, so I suppose that the Earbuds are just heavily discharged and need some time to recharge again. However, I completely recharged the case a few days ago, but the Earbuds do not seem to be charging properly, since they are still not turning on and the case is still fully charged. When I open the case, all the earbuds do is blinking synchronized in red.
My question is, is that something that’ll fix itself and the earbuds just need some time to recharge or have I damaged the batteries of the earbuds so that they cannot be charged properly anymore? Has anyone else experienced this before?
I would be very thankful if someone could help me with this issue :pray:t3:

Did you try to reset them?

The reset is described here in the “Pairing | Unpair” section:

Yes, I tried to reset them, but the case only blinked about 4 times and not ten, so I guess the reset wasn’t successful.
