I bet that the Fairphone 6 will be officially sold in the US. If Iām not mistaken, itās not officially available yet; itās only available through Murena as a āparteningā. Iāve watched the JerryRigEverything video again, and thatās what he criticises most about the device 
.
As it is, the FP6 has limited US carrier compatibility, thatās why Murena strongly suggest to use it with T-Mobile in the US.
But a new FP6 version with an adapted motherboard to cover US networks would count as a new product, I guess.
If so, I would hope support is somehow covered in a scalable fashion. If they choose a āquick and dirtyā approach and e.g. to see how it goes just employ Murena to offer support for Fairphoneās OS, too, at the front and just play support ping-pong in the background with Fairphone in Europe, because Murena are a partner and in the US already, I think this wouldnāt go well quickly.
I agree with the US availability speculation (I keep forgetting that the FP6 is not available through amazon.com yet, just the Fairbuds XL). And I think they might use the occasion to introduce a new colour now that white is out.
My second guess would be updated Fairbuds.

Is it really the case that networks are not covered with the current SOC? I doubt extra US hardware would be feasible economic wise

Ok so no real definiton of ānot compatibleā correct? In my eyes it might be a software/firmware thing as well. So in theory it might be compatible however it needs as always both FP and provider to work together to make it work and to maybe whitelist it? And they dont mention AT&T at all. So would they really use new Hardware just for 1 network provider? Sounds rather unrealistic to me..but well, we will see.
Fairbuds XL were already updated. Or maybe you were talking about the small Airbuds type?
My sincere hope is USB 3.0 module for FP6 to quell any complaint about desktop mode.
I hope itās not a watch or laptop. I donāt really see how a new completely different product can help. Phones and audio should be focused on.
It was established that this would need a new motherboard, which of course would be welcomed by many users, but at the same time it would be a hard sell as āexciting new productā after the FP5 had this capability already.
it would be a tad early, but what about a FP6(+) type deal, with a few kinks worked out, such as USB3.0? Or some sort of upgrade package for FP4/5, that would be nice too.
In my mind, the most obvious products to launch would be additional modules for the FP6. I would guess an expanded battery module and a telephoto camera module.
Maybe my dream will come true and they will release a boom microphone add-on for the Fairbuds XL so I can finally have a repairable headset for the office. 
Who knows, maybe even a Qi2 module for wireless charging. I would also expect mostly modules to be honest. The audio products got a refresh already, even the chargers got a refresh. A new FP wonāt be out for at least another year.
I donāt see a tablet happening, that market is saturated and cooled off. Maaaybe a watch, but I hope not. Watches are hard because of the sensor quality. And Fairphone is not known for integrating high quality components. Not to mention the software tuning required for all those sensors and metrics, also not their strongest side. Smart cough adaptive cough brightness 
So I guess modules or a new color for existing products.
Well, the Fairbuds XL got one, not the little ones. I say that as someone whoās generally very positive about Fairphone overall, but those are plenty awful for a successor to make senseā¦
Those got a hardware refresh already, the one with the replaceable batteries. 2 years is still pretty recent for Fairphone.
The quality of the Fairbuds XL refresh is OK though. But many quirks from the old model are still there. Another refresh of the XL, or better software, is still a big wish 
Oh right, the original TWS Earbuds. To be honest, Iād completely blocked the existence of those from my mind until right now 
But regardless, if they released a second version of the newer Fairbuds that, say, didnāt have a minimum signal latency of ~.5 seconds and a case with a hinge that breaks if you look at it funny, I doubt anyoneād take it amiss. Not to mention a companion app that allows you to turn off that oh-so-useful proximity sensorā¦
I am also hoping for new Fairbuds. Having looked at the reviews, I see that the current ones have plenty of flaws. I am genuinely interested in new earbuds, but Iām not sure about the current ones.
If we look at the entire product line, it seems that everything is in the new FP6 design style. The Fairbuds XL have also been updated to this style. The only current product that isnāt is the Fairbuds. It would make sense if they updated those next.
I was so excited by this announcement. Then I realised I have no idea what Iād even want them to release. I just want the software quirks finally eliminated from every product.
What accessory do the phones need? Or more like the Gen.6 needs. Since I doubt the 4 and 5 are getting any more attention.
A powerbank which is as fair as possible. I hope that will be one of the products.
Is known when the products will be anounced? Then we will know if we have to prospone our purchases and wait for the fair variant.
