That would be great. As long I cant use it as headset I wonât buy it.
If one of the new âproductsâ is a regional version or new colour that would be one weird choice of words. âNew productâ implies either a fully new product (second phone, other device they donât make yet) or at least a functional update of an existing device.
New Fairbuds would be cool since I think the response to the backwards compatible new headphones was very good.
I would be surprised if they branched out to something new like a watch or tablet (isnât that a horrible market?) but who knows!
I would think that an FP6 for America would (apart from my guess of an additional colour option) also have some minor hardware changes/improvements â which ideally would be compatible with existing FP6 devices. FP6+ might not be used (again) as a product name, but the device name might include some extra moniker after the âFP6â.
It says ânewâ products. So starting selling an existing product in another country is not a new product. An FP6 + version? A Fairphone tablet? No idea.
All audio products are now on sale. This could suggest that they want to clear stock of the old Fairbuds, perhaps to make way for a new model.
Yes on sale across many retailers. and I was about to buy the in-ear Fairbuds version 2, but now I am unsure, because there will most probably a new model, not knowing whatâs new about it.

- Regarding the number 4, I agree it could be âfour more daysâ (my first thought was the total number of available colour options for the product).
- There is a thin blue curved line in the picture, probably a horizon â hinting at USA?
- The two corners of a product in the picture look like the Fairphone 6, so it might not be an all-new thing.
The number 4 is likely elusive to a 4th product category: phone, earbuds, headphones, and now something new. The corners in the image could be of a tablet.
The product in the corners match the design of the Fairphone 6 100%. If you look closely you can see the same line in the device that separates the side panel with the back panel on the FP6.
I think the 4 in this case refers to a 4th colour, since the colour is the one thatâs different of the device and is shown throughout the whole photo. Midnight blue perhaps?
4 could indeed refer to â4th of a kindâ or â4th line of productâ but Iâm not sure it applies since they retired one of the FP6 colours so midnight blue wonât be the 4th colour offering. As for 4th line of product, itâs indeed an avenue (even though I wouldnât love it)
How many accessories packages are there for the back of the FP6 ? do you think itâs more of that?

EDIT: I think some of you are right. The phone in the corners looks blue, so it might be that 4th color for the FP6âŚ
there is a bit of a âhintâ (?) towards blue in a previous Instagram post which is not related but does contain the same hashtag

OK wow, youâre right. Now Iâm almost certain they are releasing a blue phone. A bit disappointing
I donât see any repairable and long term software/hardware support tablet anywhere on the âmarketâ.

I should rephrase then I guess. The tablet market is not active. A few tablets are the mains and they release a new one every few years. There is not much demand for something else. Smartphone market has slowed down as well in recent years. Mostly because there are no radical improvements.
