Hello, recently bought a Fairphone 5 and am loving it. My question is wether there are plans or will there be any to improve the camera zoom facility?
Specifically I want to be able to zoom clearly on wildlife on my walks, such as otters and kingfishers across the other side of the river, without loosing picture quality.
Hopefully there are already options or will be an optional camera lens replacement at some point.

As far as I know, there are no plans like that. But you can add your request tot the wish list of a possible FP6 here:

As far as I understand, Fairphone rather expects the community to provide for extensions and improvements.
But anyways, what you’re probably looking for is a professional wild life photo camera… 
Either way, what you can always opt for - as a compromise-- are external camera lenses which are meant to fit a verity of phones. I dont know how well they work but I have my doubts in regard to image stabilsation. You would need at least some sort of tripod to keep the image steady.
