Fairphone 4 high battery usage from mobile network

Hi, I’m recently experiencing an extremely large battery usage, coming from my mobile network. It drains almost 50% in one night without using the phone. When the mobile network is switched off during the night it consumes just 1%!!

So I’m looking for some help to fix the problem.

I noticed that the 5G antenna is housed in the main camera module. According to the product page of the camera module the 5G reception would also be improved by replacing the camera module. I don’t understand how this works? Is the 5G antenna upgraded compared the original release? If not, than it would be the same and no improvement can be expected, right? Unless the antenna is defective of course.

I don’t want to spent €80 for a new camera module if this doesn’t improve my mobile network.

Start off by limiting the network to 4G. That could help.

The “solution” with new camera module could also help just because your antenna might be a little rusty or deformed.
