I’m coming from Fairphone 2 + Feuerwear Mitch 10 and am looking for a successor (as the Fairphone 3 + Mitch 10 don’t fit well enough). I liked the Mitch, and I liked wearing it on my belt.
Feuerwear have a German and an English website:
I used the Case Finder / Huellenfinder. If you go to the bottom of the list it will say "Could not find your device? or “Dein Geraet night gefunden?” from there the tallest Mitch is the Mitch 9: 158 mm. Now, people have reported Mitch 6 worked with FP2 while others found it too tight. I’ve been using the Mitch 10 on FP2 (and Feuerwear themselves also recommend the Mitch 10), and it worked great (not too tight) but the FP3 is too tall for the case. Together with the velcro (glue) coming off the Mitch 10, it does not seem like a secure fit.
The following information I quoted from their website, with the comment added by me.
||Up to a width of (mm)
||Up to a height of (mm)
||Manually added, see hereunder
Now, on the German version of the website I read this Mitch 9 review:
Qualität wie immer super! Verwende eure Hüllen schon seit Jahren. Nur leider hat die Hülle für mein neues Fairphone 3 nicht gepasst. Welche Größe hat das Mitch 13??? Da gibt es keine Maße auf eurer Seite. Anfrage mit Maßen läuft bereits.
Antwort von Feuerwear: Vielen Dank für das Lob! Die Mitch 13 passt für Handys mit einer max. Größe von 151x77 mm
However, I believe the 4 mm plus fitting velcro could be good enough.
I measured the height of FP2 (with ‘new gen’ case) 144/145 mm.
I measured the height of FP3 without bumper at 15,7 and with bumper (my modus operandus) 162/163 mm which is approx 10-12% increase.
I didn’t care for the width. It is similar. We’re talking about a few mm difference, smartphones are becoming taller instead.
They do allow us to send in our own measurements via https://www.feuerwear.de/assets/uploads/files/FWmesspapier.pdf
