As a PAYG SIM only costs 0.99GBP personally I would always find it reassuring to see a mobile signal icon on screen confirming SIM slot(s) and antenna are functional. Good luck upon your eBay listing.
No, just commenting that some unscrupulous eBay buyers will try to find anyway to say item “not as described” to get their money back given half a chance. The onus would be upon you to show was working at time of sale.
I’ve never sold a phone on ebay so all guidance is greatly appreciated. I think I can still add photos to the listing.
But if I understand you correctly, you’re suggesting that I insert a SIM card so that the icon for mobile signal (I’m not sure what that it but I’ll Google it in a minute) is displayed to prove that it’s working properly.
On my FP4 the mobile network signal strength is indicated by a right triangle in the top right of the display; the stronger the signal the more of the triangle is white. FYI, the NFC and Wi-Fi indicators are also shown in the top right of the status bar.
In FP4 settings (Settings/ Display/ Network name) there is an option to show the Network name on the top left of the screen. Sadly the screen shot doesn’t show the status bar at the top of the screen, or I’d show you a picture. Hope that helps.
