Fairphone 2 - system languages

Hi everyone,

I’m thinking of upgrading to the Fairphone 2 but I have a question about the system languages that will be available on the phone.

Will UK English be available as a system language? The Fairphone 1 only has US English and even though I have set the phone’s date format to dd/mm/yyyy, some apps seem to ignore this setting and default back to the American mm/dd/yyyy format, which is confusing when you don’t expect it.

It seems odd that the Fairphone 1 has a number of options for German but not for English - and that the phone’s default variant of English doesn’t match the area the phones are sold in.

Is there any info about the system languages that will be available on the Fairphone 2?

I don’t believe anybody of the forum community knows such info so you should better contact support.
