I also want the Fairbuds to preserve the ANC state between restarts. It would make them much more convenient to use. I’ll reach out to Fairphone support to let them know.
It seems the Fairbudx XL preserves the EQ state across reboots, so perhaps another firmware update could make it possible to preserve the ANC state too? Reference: Fairbuds XL set default mode? - #12 by madsen
