Dear all,
I bought a DJI Osmo Mobile SE at Amazon prime days and it works fine with my FP4 with one exception: The panorama photos with the DJI mimo app do not work with the back camera, the procedure start correctly with the first picture and then fails without any significant error message. It works fine with the from camera, however.
Do you have any idea what I could try to make this work? The DJI support only mentioned that the Fairphone is not marked as compatible,
error message of the app, or did you check in adb debug log?
If you’re referring “only” to an error message of the app you might try to check in addition the adb logcat
output. You might possibly find something more helpful there.
HI @Volker, yes your are absolutely right. ADB would be the next option.
However, I was in contact with the dji forum , too. And since the calibration did not seem to be working for the panorama shots (for at least 2 mobile phones, both not marked as compatible, my FP4 and a Samsung A52) they requested me to send in the gimbal for inspection and repair. I am courious what this will bring…
So, today I received the replacement for the OSMO SE. The calibration now works, the original topic with a non functioning panorama still exists.
I tried to look at the logcat and identified some lines that might be related to this:
07-28 15:03:17.448 27572 27658 E MORPHOLDC: GetLdcMetaData():1230 ldc param fail

I do not know if those are connected to the pano problem but I have no idea where else to start
I saw this post: Has anyone tried a gimble for making videos - #2 by TheStig and I wonder if the panorama pics work in the mentioned setup. @TheStig Could you try that with your setup?
