Display gone crazy

My FP3 has been working fine so far, including this morning. Suddenly, the screen went black. When I switched it on, the device vibrated but nothing appeared on the screen. I removed the display module, checked it visually and put it back in. Still the same.
A new symptom: When a call came in, it rang and appeared on the screen, but disappeared when I tried to answer it. So the screen itself is fine; it must be a software problem. Now, when I switch it on, all I see is a coloured mosaic and I can’t do anything.

Something similar happened to me.

You might be able to fix it by cleaning the contacts. Take a look to this post:

Thanks very much, Mixigodo. I took it apart again and cleaned all the contacts of the display, top and bottom modules, as well as the ground contacts. And now it works again!

May I advise you to make a backup immediately?
