Recovery Mode
Not to be confused with dic:testingmode or dic:safemode.
Description
Recovery Mode is a menu on your phone where you can do things like apply an update from dic:adb and perform a dic:hardreset.
How to Access
You can reach it by turning off your phone, unplugging all cables and pressing power and volume up at the same time.
You can end up in recovery mode if superuser access is denied during an update process.
In Recovery Mode, you navigate by:
- Press the Power button to invoke the power menu.
- Press the Volume down button to move down.
- Press the Volume up button to select the Power option.
