Cordon says “problem software”, but I received a €193 hardware mainboard quote

My Fairphone 5 was sent to Cordon Electronics. The diagnosis says “problem software”, but I received a hardware mainboard quote (€193). I disputed it as ticket #1315871. Still waiting for escalation. Has anyone experienced a similar situation?

No experience but a comment. If they propose replacing or working on the main board when the phone is under warranty they need to show why the warranty has been voided.

Irredeemably bricking a phone would be a possible situation.
