Some of the contacts that I add in the mureno.io browser app (Brave) on my PC [Login – Murena] do not appear in the Contacts app on my Fairphone 4 phone even after a sync.
If, on the PC, I re-save one such contact then that particular one does appear from then on! So, in effect, I do not know without checking one by one whether all my contacts are synced or how to make sure that they really are always synced.
This is intolerable. What is going on? Could these contacts somehow have been flagged as synced when in fact they weren’t? What can I do?
On the phone I always leave automatic sync set to on. But these contacts are missed even by a manual refresh (off then back on) in ‘Settings - Accounts - Contacts - Account sync’.
I don’t think the o/s version matters because the problem has persisted over a number of updates.
Note that I never create contacts using the phone and I never use webmail on the phone, preferring to collect my mail in Thunderbird on the PC.
