Can't turn on Wifi or Mobile Data after update FP4.TP2G.C.0119.20240509 (root)

I did the update today (disabled root, rebooted, installed the update, rebooted, installed magisk).

At first it worked fine, everything was in order, but after a while, i had a crash bootloop, that was fixed with a hard reboot. But afterwards Wifi wasn’t working (never really turned on), and after accidentally turning off Mobile, that had the same issue, nothing fixed it, even after a full reset wifi still isn’t working!

Can I manually turn it on at boot somewhere? I would like to use my phone normally again (with root and wifi)

Edit: Audio isn’t working either!

Added the update version to the title. I guess a factory reset removed root, so did you test before rooting again? And after the reset did you set up from a backup?

I currently have no root, root was uninstalled before the reset (restore partitions), it also was uninstalled during the update (only the modules in /data/adb/ still existed).

Root might have caused the problem, but it persists without it.

I did not restore from a backup.

Can you run logs to see what happens when you try to turn it on? I cant read them, however maybe someone else here or support can

One option is explained here
Logs - Collecting logs with “Feedback”.pdf (135.1 KB)

and as you mentioned a crash and bootloop, there are issues reported with freezing and bootloops having the phone rooted and appllying this update

Will send logs later (when I am at home), the issues you linked do fit my problem, as I just checked the microphone also doesn’t work, just the audio seems to be a problem only I have (maybe because I used viperfx)

From the adb logs, parts with wifi:

Seems like there are driver files missing, and because of that the wifi service cannot start.

To me it seems like a bunch of system files are missing. Many errors complain of missing stuff.

I will try reinstalling the OS this weekend, hope it works

I reinstalled the OS using the official guide. Had to manually input the fastboot commands and restart the bootloader for each command, but it worked!

Rerooted. No problems yet.

14 hours, multiple reboots to install modules it still is stable. This seems to be a permanent solution.
