I’ve tried in both waterfox and librewolf, it immediately says that either the IMEI or the serial is wrong. I have checked and both are most definitely correct. I don’t believe it’s actually doing anything because the error comes up too quickly.
I’ve tried the third party php script linked in another thread on the subject and it says the serial needs to be at least 10 characters. The serial displayed on my handset is an 8 character hex string, so either something has changed or my fairphone is lying about its serial number.
I tried converting the hex string to decimal and putting that into the php page, and it generated a code which the phone then said was incorrect.
