Every couple of weeks my camera app stops working. If I restart my phone it works again, but this is a bit annoying to have to do every 2 weeks. Any tips?

What happens when it stops working?
I get a window come up to say it has stopped working. When I try to open the app it does not open

Do you use the stock/standard camera App from Fairphone and do you save your pics on the internal storage or a SD card? Have you tried to clear cache and storage the app (settings-apps) ?
I use the stock/standard camera app from Fairphone. I only recently put an SD card in for storage. the camera malfunction happened before I installed the card.
How do I set it up so all my picured go to the SD card? I also want them to go automatically to google drive.
You can change where you save pictures in the camera app’s settings. I wouldn’t recommend standard saving on the SD card, though, as this might not work sometimes and you might not save some pictures at all (see the discussions about empty 1KB picture files). So, if you want to save some internal storage space it’s better to move older photos to the SD card via a file explorer.
To automatically save your pictures on your Google drive, just use the backup settings in Google’s official Photos app.

I had the same problem, I hope that with Android 15 it is resolved. I do not have an SD card
What do you normally do? Restart?
Yes, I must restart . I tried to lock/unlock the phone, but it did not work. Which version of Android are you using?
