I’ve got a pair of Redmi Buds Pro. Whenever I make or receive a call using the headphones the caller gets put on hold automatically. This happens only when the laptop is connected to the headphones as well. Does anyone have an idea how to solve this issue?

reading your post, my first thought is it will be som kind of setting in your computer.
Which OS are you using on your computer?

maybe some helpful information on the troubleshoot guide for bluetooth on a Fairphone
you can try as well to use different setups, maybe you can test white a different android device for example. maybe you can rule out a few things.
now it can be the computer, your headphones, your Fairphone or even a problem between them, that causes the problem.

Thank you for your reply. I was indeed hoping that someone else had similar issues. I’ve tried a bunch of solutions, disabling all kinds of Bluetooth services, repair all the devices, etc. But somehow this combination of Microsoft Teams, earbuds and Fairphone doesn’t work smoothly. I’ve given up hope on finding a solution and have become adept in putting the call off hold very quickly.
