Hi all, I recently got a fp6 and I find the call volume really high even at the lowest setting. This applies to both WhatsApp and regular calls. Is there a way to fix this? It seems that earlier fairphones have had a similar issue.
I noticed too. I don’t understand why it is so loud. Weird design.
I don’t have a response, but I’m also having this problem on speakerphone and want to lower the ring tone.
Even the minimum is still too loud.
I tried downloading precise volume, but it doesn’t seem to be a solution.
Same issue here, for me it is also much to loud. I hope that Fairphone will ever improve that.

I had this on my FP6 too, WhatsApp calls especially, where the lowest step was still too loud and there was nothing below it.
What worked for me was attenuation applied after the system has already applied its own minimum, so it reaches call audio and not only media. It runs as a small floating dial rather than a fixed effect. Free, no root, open source, and it does not override your volume buttons.
