Bluetooth stays connected to devices that are off or outside its range

It seems like there are three confirmed issues. This Bluetooth glitch, which it seems you can workaround by toggling Bluetooth off and on again, the refresh rate glitch after unlock and some camera improvements. All of which are scheduled to be fixed in the 14th July update.

This makes me more inclined to buy one. I was almost at the point of buying a Samsung XCover 7 Pro but the FP6 has the same CPU (Qualcomm SM7635 Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 (4 nm)), but twice the ram and storage. It also seems like the FP6 has more chance of running alternate OSs in future given Fairphone have released all the kernel DTS files. Actually what tempted me to the dark side that is Samsung was that they’re pretty good at producing stable software. Still you can’t fault Fairphone for transparency and being reactive in this case. And July 14th is only about ten days away. Which is pretty quick.

Bluetooth: A few users have reported that the phone stays connected to the last audio source even when it’s turned off, or that there’s some lag during playback. We’ve identified the root cause and have a fix coming in the next software update, which is scheduled for 14 July.

Refresh rate and animation slowdown: Some of you mentioned the screen feels slower right after unlocking. We’re actively looking into this and expect to have a fix ready soon.

Camera improvements: We’re also working on a few quality-of-life updates for the camera, including better audio quality in video recordings and faster shutter response in standard photo mode.
