Juste bought the FP6, and I have random pairing issues with my Google Pixel Buds Pro 2.
SYMPTOMS:
- Phone detect my earbuds while on pairing mode, but fail to successfully pair (80% of the time).
- Sometimes pairing randomly works (20% of the time), but once I put my earbuds back in their charging case and then put them back on my ears, the bluetooth connection is not auto-reconnecting.
- I had no problem on my old Google Pixel 6 phone with the same earbuds. No damages or anything like that.
DEBUG:
- Reset Bluetooth and wifi network settings on my FP6 → no changes
- Reset my Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 (30 sec. press on the back button while charging with protective case opened) → no changes
- Try to pair them on another Fairphone 6 → Same issue
- Try to clear cache and storage of the system “Bluetooth” app → The both options are greyed out so unable to clear cache
MISC:
- My Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 are on the latest firmware available to date (release 4.467)
- My FP6 is on Android 16 (16.60.0 build)
- All apps are up-to-date. No pending updates.
Anyone having the same issue ?
