FP6 with latest e/os:
- Bluetooth connection between FP6 and old LG Nexus smartphone: ok
- Bluetooth connection between Denon AVC-X6700H and LG Nexus: ok
- Bluetooth connection between Denon AVC-X6700H and FP6: not ok
- Denon sees FP6 → pairing attempt times out
- FP6 doesn’t see Denon at all
What could be the issue here?
Hi,
interesting issue!
I’m also using a Fairphone 6 (Android 16) and I have a Denon AVC-X4800H at home.
I haven’t tested Bluetooth between them yet, but I’d be happy to try and see if I can reproduce your pairing issue.
Might help to figure out if this is a broader Android 16 Bluetooth problem with Denon receivers.
Also, could you share a screenshot of your Developer Options related to Bluetooth (especially AVRCP version, A2DP settings, etc.)?
Would be interesting to compare configurations.
As a matter of fact, I have managed to get the pairing to work recently. I had to explicitely put the Denon into pairing/listening mode (don’t remember the exact name/step…). Then it worked. With the old LG Nexus, this didn’t seem to be necessary.
