Hi all,
I was curious, I installed F-Droid for comparisons, because I wanted to know if App Lounge works properly.
I noticed F-Droid shows 5 updates ready to be installed, while App Lounge shows nothing from the open source apps?
Some additional context:
yes I switched on the options to show all “Applications” in App Lounge
(common, OpenSource,PWA)
How is this possible?
Kind regards.
I guess you better ask this in the e/OS community, as e/OS is developing this.
As far as I read the App lounge has issues and several people use Aurora Store and F-Droid directly

2 immediate technical ideas …
There might be a curation step of sorts involved from F-Droid repositories to App Lounge.
Syncing F-Droid to App Lounge might be done automatically, but in intervals, not nearly immediately.
Just to say some kind of lag wouldn’t be a total surprise … but I can’t say how it really works, I’m one of those “several people”:
… because this just works more reliably according to longtime /e/OS experience so far.
Hopefully they will get App Lounge there finally someday, but up to now my personal advice would be to not bother with it too much.
