You could also try a local Angel - not sure which would be the closest: Edinburgh, London or Hanworth given it is virtually impossible to post batteries..
or try the local communities
I can’t find any communities or angels listed, and those places aren’t particularly near!
Perhaps it is an idea to go a local electronic shop.

What do you mean by an external charger?
External chargers look like this 
External universal chargers for Fairphone batteries. The FP5 battery is comparatively wide though, so a fitting one might be hard to find. In my own 250,000-inhabitant city, I did not find any such charger in a bricks and mortar store, but you might be luckier over there.
