Any luck on T-Mobile Wifi Calling?

If I understand this correctly, some new builds of Cyanogen have included T-mobile wifi calling. As this is what you use half the time when travelling (losing signal in various areas), I am curious if anyone has got this to work with FP2?

Looks like T-Mobile is distributing Fairphones in Austria, but no mention in the press release on whether or not wifi calling is included as in T-Mobile’s other smartphones?

T-Mobile brings the Fairphone to Austria

Can anyone confirm the wifi-calling in the Austrian Fairphone is the same system as in the US, and if so does it “just work” out of the box?

The Wi-Fi Calling system used by T-Mobile US (and some others) uses GAN / UMA. This is not (yet) widely used in Europe. As far as I know, T-Mobile / Deutsche Telekom has not deployed Wi-Fi Calling outside the US. Also, FP2 does not support it.
