Add network drive to file manager

How do i Add a network drive (located in my own home server) to the standard file manager app on the fp4?

You can’t. It doesn’t have the functionality.

You have to use another file manager that supports it. I’m personally using TotalCommander with the SMB extension, which you can get HERE. Totalcommander is available in the play store as usual.

If your goal is to use those files in other apps, RSAF (F-Droid link) is another option that supports everything rclone can handle (quite a lot).
It won’t show up in the Google files app (as far as I know), but you’ll get access to those folders via the usual built in file/folder picker.

If you’re looking for a file manager, Material Files is a great open source alternative to Total Commander that has support for SMB, SFTP, webDAV, etc. already included. I’ve been using that one as my main file manager for years, it’s great :slightly_smiling_face:
