6ghz wifi roaming

I recently got myself a new router capable of broadcasting on the 6ghz spectrum.
But I ran into this weird behavior, where my phone is very roaming happy between 5ghz and 6ghz. Which would be fine. But.
When roaming specifically to or from 6ghz, wifi cuts out for like two seconds. Roaming isn’t smooth and seamless.
The wifi signal icon on the top row disappears temporarily, then reappears.
So like, it’s fast, and the phone auto stitching to mobile data for two seconds is not a big deal.
But it bugs me.

Is this a router issue, or a phone issue? Anyone else using their FP5 with a 6E capable router?
Is this just a visual bug with the top icon, or does it actually have trouble roaming quickly and smoothly?

Does the 6Ghz-network and the 5Ghz-network have their own SSID? If not, maybe you can enable that in the router settings!?

No, all 2.4, 5, and 6ghz has the same SSID with band steering enabled. And I specifically did not want to resort to splitting SSIDs because it’s more convenient to just have one wifi name.
But I did try this, and in that case, the phone never roams. As it should. It does stick to 6ghz.
