Yubikey not recognized anymore - Charge still works fine

Hi, I am using an Fair-Phone5 and a Yubikey 5c (NFC + USB-C). For some time now, the Yubikey is not recognized anymore, when using the USB-C connector. There is power getting through (the LED on the key lights up on insertion), but phone and yubi-App do not realize a device is there. USB-C Settings also do not show a device is connected.

The Key works fine on other devices. Charging works fine on FP5.
(Sidenote - NFC does not work either, but that seems to be another more general issue, G-Pay and ID-card are failing on NFC as well)

Any ideas ?

Are you able to transfer data through the USB connector of your phone?

Interesting test. I can not see the phone and “usagetype for USB connections” is completely grey, I can not switch to PTP, MIDI, Tethering or filetransfer.
(tested with new thunderbolt 4 cable)

Did you try different cable?

Then I guess there is a problem with the USB port.
A Fairphone angel can possibly help you with a spare part to check.
