Youtube audio and video not in sync

Hi
Since one of the more recent updates youtube audio and video not in sync.
The audio runs away from the video and eventually the youtube app stops playing the video and acts as if the Wifi is disconnected which is not the case.
Other apps e. g. like Twitch don’t have this issue. It also does not affect my company iphone.
Any ideas?

Try clearing the cache & data of the youtube app.

To do that go to Settings > Apps and then

  • on Android 6 (I believe) tap the menu button in the top right and tick “show system apps”.
  • on Android 5 swipe to “All”

tap on the youtube app and then on clear data (automatically also clears cache).
