I downloaded xposed-v89-sdk25-arm.zip and tried flashing it via TWRP as usual, but it did not work. Has anyone been successful installing it on Fairphone Open 18.10.0?

I got the Fpoos update, but didn’t get through with it yet. Do you use the xposed installer or do you manually install xposed?
I downloaded the zip file from the xposed website, rebooted into twrp and tried to install it as I usually do after updates. I guess that’s what you meant by manually.
You have to update to TWRP 3.2.3-0 because of an zip verification bug.
