WiFi calling not working on FP3

I have enabled WiFi calling on my FP3 and when try to make a call I see a message that I am not connected to a mobile network and that I should connect to a WiFi network to make a call. However, I AM connected to WiFi at the time…

so are you running standard Fairphone system or any Custom ROM? Did it ever work? There are reports that you need a mobile connection when you enable it the first time, so was this the case?

i am running vanilla software and system. I have not tried it before, but I am in an area with no mobile connection which is why I am trying to use WiFi calling.

Hi @upthevale Welcome to the forum. So which vale are you dug into? Hi I’m in the woods in Cornwall, no network and I use EE. However to get the wifi up and running initially I had to connect to the network for EE to enable it on the phone, that meant a walk to the nearby village I.e. wifi can not self enable. Try climbing out of the black hole for a while and see if Vodafone want to play

Thanks for the advice. Shame that is not widely disseminated. i will be going into the nearest town later, and perhaps there will be a mobile telephone signal there.
