Just to clarify, have you purchased your FP6 from Murena webshop?

Ask Murena, please. Fairphone don’t sell in the US and don’t do support there as of now, Murena do.

Currently it says in their shop: “THE MURENA FAIRPHONE (GEN. 6) WILL BE SHIPPED IN SEPTEMBER !”

Yes, I purchased the FairPhone6 from the USA page of the Murena website on August 23, 2025.

You might want to know they’ve been secretly sending /e/OS users’ biometrics to OpenAI. Maybe it’s not too late to cancel and look elsewhere? I was able to get mine from an independent retailer on Amazon not long after launch, just fyi.

hahaha, where and how would anyone (they) get my biometrics (fingerprints, facial features, or voice) if I have not seen, touched, or been in the same room as a Fairphone? Joking aside; yes, every microphone and camera is constantly recording our image and sounds, and, every device around us is pinging our devices for our location. Yes, all of these things are being used to train AI. Advertisers have been exploiting our consumer habits for decades. But… still buying a Fairphone from the Murena porthole. Please be careful buying a phone from a person- you don’t know what they have installed on it.
