The delay, microphone quality of the fairbuds are abysmal.
When are you planning the update?
As there haven’t been any news around this and you seemed to be focusing on the XL with hardware updates? When can we expect an update for the fairbuds SMALL namely firmware V66?
The app clearly doesn’t work for the small fairbuds.
Is this product deprecated? If so, why are you still selling it with broken software or even worse hardware?
Cause I tested with several devices – up to date FP6 and Pixel 8A but in both cases the sound replay is delayed and microphone is absolutely not useable. Not in the slightest usable.
Please @fairphone reply so we know that there is some kind of movement.
That would be transparent and responsible.

I know. They are just responding with me fixing my own product. What is the reason for a user forum to exist if they won’t read it?

They read it, the users. You don’t have direct contact to the Fairphone employees though.

Yes, but this should also function as another way for developers to get insights on problems to improve their products. That’s one way to do it. And look on reviews, app stores, reseller feedback, returns, repair logs etc.
It is not that I think this will have massive impact though I hope this will at least get small recognition. Who knows.

Thank you. You’ve taken the words right out of my mouth… I would love this product if the microphone were usable and the delay weren’t so extremely annoying… as it is, I can only use the buds for listening to music… it would be so nice if I could use them to make phone calls or even play games on my Steam Deck. But I actually think that Fairphone isn’t really focusing on this product… even though Fairbuds really have the potential to be a hit…
