When connected to PC, internal storage on phone is shown as "empty"

Hi,

After solving first the android.process.media error I have now run into a second problem when trying to connect my phone to my computer.

Now the FP2 icon shows in “my computer” folder when connected via USB. I can click on it to see the internal storage icon and when I click on that it says it is empty. I did the suggested MTP update but no difference. Another topic on this runs dead without a clear answer or solution so I’m opening it again.

Maybe I should note that few months ago I changed the bottom module because of a microphone problem and this is the first time I try to connect via USB since.

My specs:
PC:
Windows 10 Home
Intel® Core™ i7-4710HQ CPU @ 2.50GHz
16 GB Ram
64-bit operating system, x64-processor

FP2:
Android 7.1.2
Build 19.02.1
Kernel-Version: 3.4.0-perf-geb244d10da4 jenkins@lxc-slave05 #1 Tue Feb 5 16:34:46 UTC 2019

… and you swiped down on the home screen to get the notification that the phone is charging, tapped on the notification and changed the USB connection mode to transferring files (MTP)?
