WhatsApp messages missing after reboot

Hi all,
after searching through all Forum-Titles concerning WhatsApp I decided to start a knew topic.
And hope to get help

That’s my problem:
I got the notification for a knew message in WhatsApp, so I tried to unlock the display and got no reaction. My FP2 rebooted automatically (as always when something does not react).
After the reboot I unlocked the screen and obened WhatsApp, but there was no knew message.
I had to ask different contacts to find out who wrote a message to me. And the message had to be sent again.

Is there another way to receive the message? It was awkward to ask if someone wrote a message to me…

Thanks for the help!

Have you tried WhatsApp web ? Just in case you have not used it:

  • On your computer: Open https://web.whatsapp.com/ You will see a QR code at first.
  • On your phone: Open the WhatsApp menu (top right), and choose “WhatsApp web”.
  • Now scan the QR code on your computer screen with your phone and you should see your messages on the Computer (and you can send them from the computer).

Thanks for the tip I just tried it, but there is the message missing too.
