Pictures shown in Whatsapp doesn’t appear in gallery apps. This happens in both my daughter’s FP4 and my FP5, both with updated stock Android and with Google Photos and an app called Gallery I’ve installed from F-Droid. It seems to me that the gallery apps “don’t see” the Whatsapp media folders (video files doesn’t appear as well). Can someone suggest why this is so and/or what can be done to have Whatsapp media appear in gallery apps?

Ain‘t that a setting in WhatsApp, that made or received pictures are copied to the gallery?
